Behavioral Specialist Consultant

Intercultural Family Services, Inc. is seeking Behavioral Specialist Consultants with experience working with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds to work on a contractual basis at our Behavior Health Center.

All candidates must be certified or have training in Applied Behavior Analysis /Behavior Modification or currently enrolled in an ABA Behavior Modification Certification Program. A mental health related Master's degree is required. Must have exp. working in a multicultural setting. Drug testing required. Excellent benefits/comp package. Must possess clean child abuse and criminal record. 

 

 


Bachelor’s Level Positions

  Therapeutic Staff Support

Intercultural Family Services, Inc. is seeking TSS Workers for Full-time school hour positions. Individuals must be available to provide immediate behavioral reinforcement, emotional support, and to coordinate time-structuring activities intended to improve socialization skills within a naturalized community setting (home, school and community location).

QUALIFICATIONS: Must process a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice or Human Services. Must possess  clean child abuse and criminal record clearances. Drug testing required. 


Master’s Level Positions

 P/T Therapist

Intercultural Family Services, Inc.seeks a P/T Therapist to provide 15-20 hours per week of therapeutic services for clients at a community based Outpatient Clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in psychology or counseling.  Minimum two years experience in providing behavioral health services required. Ability to write comprehensive treatment plans, and direct the treatment team.  Position require knowledge of, and sensitivity towards the mental health issues presented in communities of ethnic diversity.  The ability to relate within a multicultural work environment. All candidates must meet CBH credentialing requirements,  have professional liability insurance and Child Abuse and Criminal Clearances issued within the past six months 

 Mobile Therapist

Intercultural Family Services, Inc. is in search of a Mobile Therapist to work with our Wraparound program. Position is responsible for providing intense therapeutic services to a child and family, including, assessment, direct therapy, crisis intervention, working with family, child and appropriate professionals to determine correct treatment plans and completion of appropriate documentation

QUALIFICATIONS: Masters in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work required, as well as 3 years experience in human service agency with at least 1 year direct clinical treatment experience with children and professional liability insurance.  Professional licensure preferred.  


Doctoral Level Positions

  Psychologists

Intercultural Family Services, Inc. is currently seeking psychologists with experience working with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds to work on a consultant basis (fee for service) at our Behavioral Health Center.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Psy.D. or a Ph.D. in a mental health related field. All candidates must be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania and have current professional liability coverage

Internships and Field Placements

  Internships and Field Placements are available each semester in Social Services and Behavioral Health Services departments. We also accept Volunteers to assist with tutoring in Math, Reading and English for our Youth and Family Development department.
