Wai Li is the Billing Manager. He leads our Billing Department’s back office accounting operations towards successfully and accurately processing all claims, billings and revenue recognition for our Behavioral Health services. In his leadership role, he also serves as liaison to providers in fostering pro-active partnerships. He is passionate about improving and automating our approaches and readily provides mentorship to his team and others. Under Wai’s tenure, Intercultural have made significant improvements and increases in our billing and revenue outcomes.
Prior to joining Intercultural Family Services Inc., he had been working in Medical Electronic Data Interchange and paper billing since July 1999. He was promoted to Accounts Receivable Manager and oversaw the Outpatient Mental Health billing department since 2004, where he supervised all billing and payment processing for Medicare, Medicaid, Community Behavioral health, long-term care, Intellectual Disability and Private health insurance billing.
Wai graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1997.
