Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)

Intercultural’s Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) supports children with mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs. IBHS offers services that meet the needs of elementary and middle school children and their families in their homes, schools and communities.

Who We Serve

Through the Community Behavioral Health (CBH) department of DBHIDS we are able to provide IBHS programs to approved members and their families.  Intercultural is able to help manage the behavioral care of students within the School District of Philadelphia Cluster 40 (zip codes 19131 and 19151, Elementary-Middle).

If you need support; have an inquiry or would like more information, please feel free to contact us via phone:  215-468-4673 ext. 251 or email:  [email protected]

Program Goal

Intercultural’s IBHS program is committed to help stabilize, strengthen and unite families through an array of culturally relevant behavioral health and human services.

Our Team

IBHS is a team approach from a group of caring clinicians and specialists. The team includes a Behavioral Consultant, who work with the family to address behavior through treatment plan, a Mobile Therapist, who can provide services at the home and the Behavioral Health Technician, who provides individual, therapeutic services to the child at both home and school. All members of the clinical team and additional care management personal including care coordinators and family peer specialists, work together to ensure treatment goals are achieved and family support is provided.
