Family Based Mental Health (FBMH)

Intercultural supports a holistic approach to family intervention for at risk youths in the community. The primary location of our Intensive Home and School Based services is at 2317 S. 23rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19145.

Intercultural’s Family Based Mental Health Services is an intensive, evidenced-based, home-based, and team-delivered family intervention for youth ages 15-21 who have serious emotional disturbances and reside with family or caregivers within the community. As part of this program, Intercultural operates the only Youth Empowerment Trauma Resiliency (YETR) Teams in the city, and assist families dealing with the effects of a child and/or caregiver’s emotional disturbance. Intercultural has eight teams and provides care for families for about 8 months in the home, school and community setting.
