IBHC is focused on helping individuals and families achieve social and emotional stability, and become productive members of their communities. IBHC is located at two locations: 2317 South 23rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19145 in the South Philadelphia region and 4254 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 in the West Philadelphia region. Our services also include treatment of adolescents at risk for delinquent/disruptive behaviors and their families.

IBHC holds a current Certificate of Compliance from the PA Department of Public Welfare’s Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, is credentialed by the City of Philadelphia’s Community Behavioral Health (CBH) and Magellan Behavioral Health for services in Delaware County. Our services include:

In order to receive services, you must be Medicaid eligible; or have other insurance which covers behavioral health services; or possess the ability to pay a fee for service.

Outpatient Services:

Outpatient Services provides a wide range of Outpatient Mental Health Services and is located at two locations: 4254 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104, in the University City District of Philadelphia and at 2317 S. 23rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19145, in the South Philadelphia region. Using effective, research-based interventions the professional staff at IBHCs can handle the most difficult behaviors while managing the individual needs of every client. Through individualized treatment planning we help clients address existential factors and achieve social and emotional stability. What matters most here at IBHC is that that our clients quickly get back to the routine of living out their productive lives.

Asian Collaborative: PROJECT AWAREE

Project AWAREE (Asian Wellness & Access to Recovery through Effective Engagement) is designed to implement effective engagement strategies with Asian participants and their families in need of intervention for addiction and multi-occurring disorders. The project provides a culture specific, integrated model of intervention designed to address cultural and linguistic barriers associated with substance use/abuse, gambling and the accompanying disorders. The program takes into consideration the cultural nuances associated with stigma, social meaning and strong historical beliefs of the participants.
